“Southern Cross Cleaning is part of the SCC Group. We are a highly reputable and well-known commercial cleaning business delivering cleaning services to a broad range of clients across the defence, education, retail, government, and commercial sectors.
Due to organisational growth the SCC group has multiple new roles for a Client Services Manager and Client Services Supervisor. These positions will be responsible for leading the development and delivery of commercial cleaning services across an already established portfolio of clients (Education, Government, Commercial and Private sites) located in the Whyalla and extended surrounding areas.
The role requirements for the Client Services Manager will include:
- Managing an extensive portfolio for contracted commercial cleaning services.
- Developing business services for current contracts and identifying new business opportunities.
- Providing oversight and controls for managing staffing and operational resources.
- Maintaining a safe workplace at all times.
- Maintaining a reporting structure, measuring KPIs, identifying risks and corrective actions.
- Building client relationships fostering long-term working partnerships.
- Leading and developing a team of direct reports.
The role requirements for the Client Services Supervisor will include:
- Lead supervisors and cleaners for the delivery of day-to-day cleaning services across multiple sites.
- Monitor and evaluate service delivery assessing compliance with SCC safety, quality and environmental requirements.
- Maintain scheduled audits and assessments of services, reporting risks and corrective actions.
- To control stock (cleaning products) in line with company guidelines to prevent financial loss.
- Arrange relief cleaners as required.
- To liaise with the Contracts Manager regarding the supply of stock in the Area to ensure adequate cleaning supplies are available on all sites.
- To identify underperforming sites and notify the Contracts Manager to address and manage issues effectively.
- To achieve successful site and cleaning room inspection results conducted by senior management or outside auditors.

- An experienced leader who has a proven track record for contract management, building services, leading teams and fostering strong working relationships with clients.
- Able to prioritise and delegate, with demonstrated ability to move between competing operational demands.
- A good technical understanding of equipment, cleaning services and use of products.
- Ability to collaborate with colleagues and share information and resources.
- A practical understanding of commercial cleaning services.
- A leader that can guide staff through the company’s vision, role modelling the values of the SCC Group.
- Current Driver’s license.
- National Police Clearance (current or willing to obtain a certificate).
- Be willing to travel.
