Honeywill Consulting is company that provides Design, Project Management and Quantity Surveying. We are committed to sustainable growth with very low staff turn-over rates. We currently have 26 staff in 5 teams, spread over three offices in South-East Queensland and seeking an Architect to join our Gold Coast team. The key responsibilities include:
o Client Satisfaction, and Commitment - Maintaining client relationships. Play a key role in client presentations and deliverables. Effectively managing the delivery of projects within budget and timeframes
o Client Communications - Maintain ongoing client communications and respond to questions in a timely and professional manner
o Professional Development - undertake professional development and training to maintain industry knowledge and professional accreditations. Work with peers to gain experience and knowledge. Learn from mistakes to ensure they do not reoccur.
o Revit and ArchiCAD Management - Setting up and maintaining our libraries and templates
o Creating Detailed Tender Drawings - Converting scope of works and sketches into detailed and accurate Tender Drawings, either in CAD or REVIT for refurbishment projects (high volume)
o Focus - on the detail / achieving the best outcomes for the students and clients rather than winning awards
o Ongoing Architectural duties - Undertake the role of the Architect on commissions with the assistance of other team members, including setting up and maintaining Revit libraries, ArchiCAD templates and refining our standard scope of works into detailed tender documents.
o Scheduling: Finishes, Fittings and Equipment: Preparing schedules that meet school requirements and our Honeywill preferences
o Compliance: Maintain NCC / DDA compliance
o Maintaining Records - maintaining the integrity of the team records management system to ensure a timely record of accurate information, filing is up to date, accurate, databases are maintained for ease of access, retrieval and reporting
o Team work - actively participate as a member of a team to move the team toward the completion of goals.
o Customer service - ability to develop and maintain positive relationships and ensure the delivery of a consistent, correct and high-quality outputs.
o Initiating Action - ability to be proactive and take prompt action to accomplish objectives and achieve goals

o Time Management - work to the hours of the office and additional hours as required to fulfil the requirements of the work load. Manage time to ensure all deliverables are on time and the requirements of senior staff and / or our clients.
Selection Criteria:
- Appropriate tertiary qualified - Degree qualified in Architecture, Building Design or similar.
- Advanced competencies with Revit
- Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in a previous drafting / design role
- Demonstrated career achievement.
