Founder and Director of Cohere Project Management has over 20 years’ experience working on some of the most iconic projects across multidisciplinary national businesses. 3 years young, Cohere is a growing business working across fit outs and new builds delivering projects up to $100M.
With a pipeline of new projects, strong leadership, flexibility and mentorship on offer, Cohere are now looking for their next Client side Project Manager. You will be joining a cohesive team who has built and maintained lasting relationships with clients, contractors and consulting teams.
The role
As a Client-Side Project Manager, you will report to the director and play a pivotal role in managing the scope, development, planning, and implementation of a scheduled project portfolio. Your focus will be on meeting client expectations in terms of cost, time, and quality. In the role of Client-Side Project Manager, you will ensure the smooth delivery of a diverse range of projects across South Australia, while liaising with clients and stakeholders. This is an opportunity for a Project Manager who thrives on innovative problem-solving and driving success to join the Cohere team. Some other responsibilities will include but not be limited to;
- Manage the entire project lifecycle, overseeing external consulting and construction teams' Project Managers.
- Contribute to the procurement process, including scope, tender, and appointment.
- Prepare and manage project documentation and reporting.
- Negotiate commercial outcomes with contractors and delivery partners.
- Project planning, scheduling, and project controls, including cost control.
- Maintain consistent liaison between all internal and external delivery partners.
The ideal candidate will have relevant tertiary qualifications, proven commercial delivery experience in the Australian market, and at least 5 years working as a Project Manager or Project Coordinator/ Assistant Project Manager. They will also be open to an someone coming from an architectural background with project leading experience. Your solid understanding of the full project lifecycle, as well as your excellent time management and communication skills, will ensure that you become a valued team member in a hardworking team environment. With natural leadership capabilities and strong communication, you will have the ability to connect and build rapport with internal and external stakeholders.
