What will your typical day look like?

As a Client and Team Manager, you will work alongside the partners to service a book of diverse SME clients.  You will also be responsible for managing and supporting a team of accounting staff members to ensure our clients are properly serviced. You will be involved in the following:

• Liaising with clients and develop rapport with key stakeholders within their businesses
• Managing your team's workflow and capacity to ensure every team member is at optimum efficiency
• Providing excellent client service by overseeing the end to end process of onboarding a client to handover meetings.
• Reviewing the work of junior staff members within your team
• Managing of a outsourced team overseas and the opportunity to travel to engage with them from time to time
• Training and developing the technical ability of your team
• Preparation and review of financial statements and tax returns
• Preparation and review of all ATO compliance reporting
• Provide tax compliance and advisory services to an extensive range of listed entities and large multinational companies on expatriate and employment tax matters
• Research and prepare tax advisory letters on a variety of tax matters covering corporate tax, GST, FBT and cross border income tax issues
• Build direct relationships with clients and provide exceptional client service
• Taking part in the development of the business of Trident Financial Group and help introduce or implement new initiatives

We’re looking for a highly motivated and personable individual with strong communication skills with the following qualification and experience:

• CA or CPA qualified
• 5 - 10 years business services / tax experience with an Australian accounting firm
• Have experience in managing junior staff members
• Have experience in managing client relationships
• Strong tax technical knowledge
• Strong organisation and written and verbal communication skills
