A little bit about the role
Bring your extensive experience in environmental sustainability in this exciting role to lead our municipal response to the challenges of climate change.
This is a fantastic position for a passionate environmental sustainability professional to build on your existing skills and experience, and ultimately have a lasting community impact!
Climate Action Plan Lead will:
- Have a critical strategic role in the development and implementation of our response to Climate Change and related Sustainability Issues.
- Be responsible for leading the implementation of our Climate Action Plan - be creative in identifying new and emerging challenges and opportunities!
- Oversee the delivery of community programs that support the Boroondara community to respond to the challenges of climate change.
- Assist the Coordinator with activities necessary to operate an effective team such as business planning, budgeting, team meetings and professional development.
You will have demonstrated experience in effectively managing projects, both big and small, and have the ability to build strong professional relationships, ideally in a local government environment.
