ALDI Good Different.Job DescriptionLeverage your expertise to drive ALDI’s Australian Climate and Nature commitments. In this newly created role, you will be pivotal in the development and implementation of ALDI’s supply chain emissions strategy and targets.Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders nationally and globally you will be responsible for developing and driving the implementation of projects and initiatives to support ALDI achieve our emissions targets.A subject matter expert, you will leverage your knowledge, analytical and communication skills to build and continuously improve business expertise to drive positive environmental change. This is a full-time permanent opportunity, based in Minchinbury.What does the role look like?

• Leverage past experience to drive the successful implementation of ALDI's Climate, Nature and Sustainable Products strategy.
• Collaborate with internal teams to establish baseline data to support the development of national targets and implement business projects or process changes to achieve targets.
• Build organisational and supplier partner capability on Climate and Nature topics and ALDI’s policies and requirements.
• Analyse and interpret data to recommend actions and/or initiatives to support ALDI achieve its Climate and Nature targets.
• Implement tools to monitor and report on emerging market trends, regulatory, industry, competitor, and media developments in relation to nature and biodiversity.
• Support ALDI’s engagement with customers, NGO, government, and media in relation to Climate and Nature.

• Possess in-depth knowledge of relevant Climate and Nature frameworks, standards, and regulations.
• Proven experience in developing and implementing Climate and/or nature strategies within a large organisation.
• Ability to establish and oversee the implementation, monitoring, and reporting systems for climate requirements, ensuring ongoing compliance with relevant standards.
• Confident, clear communicator with highly developed written and presentation skills, and the ability to engage and build rapport with a wide range of stakeholders.
• Ability to leverage data-driven insights to inform and drive strategic decision-making within a dynamic business environment.
• Exhibit a genuine passion for climate, nature, and biodiversity, driving a culture of continuous improvement.
