Form of workWe have a wonderful opportunity for an experienced and motivated Clinical Care Manager to lead and mentor our dedicated team at our Residential Home in South East Melbourne in La Trobe Valley.
The Clinical Care Coordinator is responsible, in conjunction with the Home Manager to ensure the home meets Clinical Care needs in line with organisation and legislative requirements and has a key focus on quality assurance and continuous improvement.
Your key responsibilities
- To provide support to the Clinical staff and Home Manager to ensure that resident care requirements are met.
- Participation in the on-call roster, as required.
- Ensure that all care staff comply with their requirements and responsibilities to deliver best practice care.
- To ensure that all areas of risk are communicated in a timely manner to the Home Manager.
- To foster positive working relationships with all stakeholders and employees of the home.
- Ensuring that communication is effective and respectful when assisting with clinical matters and appropriate escalations are made and communicated.
Your skills & experience
- Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience working in a similar role.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-focused and organised with the ability to meet multiple, competing deadlines.
- Proven ability to participate collaboratively and constructively within teams of peers and other stakeholders, as well as initiative and effective personal judgement when working alone.
- Ability to communicate clearly and succinctly, both verbally and in writing.
- Proven engagement and relationship building skills.
