About the Opportunity
This position is to support a small and diverse clinical team of exercise physiologists, a dietitian, a CNC, providing lifestyle and Physical Health care to consumers of the Mental Health Service.
The role will be based at Liverpool Mental Health Services and will be a key addition the current team by providing administrative structure and clerical support to the clinical team. The ideal candidate will have experience in NSW Health systems but must be able to demonstrate independence in their tasks and maintain attention to detail. The Physical Health Service team has been operational for only 12 months, and there is opportunity to take on exciting new initiatives with this team.
Days and hours across the week are flexible however the team would prefer availability across two to three days of the week. Please contact Isabella for further information.
What You'll be Doing
This position provides Clinical Information Services to Mental Health Services and maintains high quality, customer focused service.
This position links in with and supports other administrative positions located within the mental Health Service both inpatient and community.
This position may from time to time be requested to assist with administration tasks for other Mental Health units within the scope of the award conditions.

How to Apply
To be considered for this position, please ensure you address the selection criteria as thoroughly as possible. * Demonstrated knowledge of Clinical Information Systems, Privacy Act and excellent understanding of confidentiality

  • Computer skills and demonstrated knowledge and experience with computerised patient administration systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to organise, prioritise and monitor personal workflow.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with a high level of accuracy within an environment with conflicting work priorities.
  • Demonstrated effective communication, interpersonal skills and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team, independently and perform tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Current unrestricted Australian drivers licence (P2 Licence Acceptable) subject to obtaining NSW drivers licence within 3 months of appointment.
