Beam Health has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Occupational Therapist to become our Clinical Manager Occupational Therapy.

The Clinical Manager Occupational Therapy will provide clinical and managerial leadership, support, and supervision to the team, with the support of an Occupational Therapy Lead. The role will maintain a reduced caseload of clients to ensure you still get to enjoy providing high quality direct support and intervention to your clients and families.

We’re happy to discuss how the role could work best for you in terms of full-time, part time, flexible hours. We’re also open to any of our clinic locations – Warners Bay, Tuggerah, Gosford, Cessnock and Toowong.

The Role

As the Clinical Manager Occupational Therapy, you will:

• Clinical Services: provide high quality and tailored therapy and intervention to children and adolescents with a variety of conditions.
• Team Leadership: provide guidance, support and formal clinical and management supervision to your team of Occupational Therapists. Foster a collaborative and supportive team, who are motivated to continually learn and consistently exceed KPI targets.
• Professional Development: commitment to your own professional development, as well as supporting your team in this area.
• Program Development: continuation of our graduate program development and implementation, as well as looking for opportunities to enhance learning development opportunities within the Occupational Therapy and/or multidisciplinary space.
• Stakeholder/Community Engagement: working collaboratively and closely with families, carers, early years educators, school teachers, and other health professionals in relation to our clients. Seeking opportunities to network and build on our relationships within the community.
• Executive and Business Support: be an integral part of our clinical leadership group and supporting the business in areas such as recruitment, on/offboarding, performance management and evaluations, etc.

The Requirements

To apply for the role, we would like you to have:

• Tertiary level qualification in Occupational Therapy
• AHPRA registration (or eligibility now or in the near future)
• Eligibility to provide NDIS and Medicare services
• Proven clinical leadership skills and a demonstrated commitment to excellence in clinical practice.
• Ability to support and lead others to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary framework
• Experience in or a passion for working with children, youth and families
• A strong commitment to your own learning and growth
• A positive outlook with good ethics
• Strong teamwork, communication and interpersonal skills
