The ITB Clinical Nurse will work within within a flexible, multidisciplinary structure to ensure the delivery of high-quality assessment and management services to all ITB clients, assisting the ITB Rehabilitation Physician with coordination and delivery of clinical and administrative activities of the ITB clinic.
The classification range for this position is Clinical Nurse Consultant ZA7 - ZA8 ($119,324 - $122,163 pro rata for part time).
Your Contribution
Degree in general nursing which meets the registration requirements of the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia;
Current Nursing Registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
Post graduate qualifications in area of specialty highly regarded
Excellent skills and competencies as a clinician, with a minimum of 4 years’ post registration nursing experience and including at least 3 years’ experience in a relevant field of rehabilitation and or community-based service and or disability-based service
Demonstrated sound knowledge and application of clinical practice and principles in the area of neurological rehabilitation, with a particular emphasis in the management of clients with cerebral palsy and spasticity
Current national criminal history check, or willing to obtain

About Intra-thecal Baclofen Clinic
The ITB clinic is one of the HIP Disability Clinics, providing specialist management of adults with complex spasticity, predominantly with a diagnosis of Cerebral Palsy, who have Intrathecal Baclofen pumps in situ, as a way of controlling their severe spasticity.
