About the hospital:
Tennyson Centre Day Surgery is part of the Nexus Hospitals group. We employ over 1600 talented and passionate people across 27 hospitals, as well as 3 support offices.
Tennyson Centre Day Hospital is a purpose-built day surgery with two Operating Theatres, three Procedure rooms and PACU. We specialise in Ophthalmology, Urology, Minor Plastic Surgery, Oral Surgery, Gastroenterology and Endoscopy.
About the role
Tennyson Centre Day Hospital is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to join our leadership team as a Clinical Nurse who is experienced in the above specialties and is highly motivated with a desire to extend their leadership journey whilst maintaining core clinical expertise.
This role will see you working collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary healthcare team to support patient care needs.
Imperative to your success in this role will be:
- delivering exceptional clinical outcomes
- education, mentoring and leadership
- Supporting the GM/ DON and Operational/ Clinical Manager with human, physical and financial resources and quality activities
We are looking to offer a Full-time or Part-Time contract to the right candidate.
About You
You have a genuine passion for nursing, providing world-class patient care and adding value to Australian healthcare. You will have:
- Solid experience in a comparable role within Perioperative setting
- A passion for educating, mentoring and leadership
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- A true commitment to delivering high quality patient care
- Knowledge of NSQHS Standards
- Current Registration with AHPRA
- Experience in the above specialties highly desirable.
