An opportunity exists for a talented and enthusiastic Clinical Nurse Specialist to join the Mental Health & CADS team at Geraldton Health Campus – Midwest.

- Demonstrated workplace leadership relevant to community mental health practice
- Demonstrated knowledge, understanding and experience of mental illness, assessment of complex presentations and providing evidence-based interventions for people with mental health or related disorders.
Position Profile:
Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, establish and maintain high quality standards of client care by leadership, delivery of care and role modelling in accordance with policies and procedures. Act as a clinical resource to staff across the service. Provide expert clinical assessment, screening, follow-up and care as required.

The Country Nursing & Midwifery incentive program is available to new and existing nurses and midwives - across a broad range of patient-facing roles - on fixed term or permanent contracts at 76 select locations. Eligible nurses and midwives can receive between $5,000 and $17,000 in support over 12 months (WA Country Health Service - Country Nursing and Midwifery Incentive Program).
