We have a fulltime or part-time position available for Generally Registered Psychologists and Clinical Psychologists to come on board.

About the Clinic
At Minds & Hearts, we provide professional support and assistance for individuals living with neurodiverse conditions, through Psychology, Speech and Language Therapy and Occupational Therapy. We also share our extensive expertise in the field of neurodiversity with professionals, educators, parents and people alike to encourage understanding and acceptance of neurodiverse populations.
Our services cater to a diverse range of presentation beyond the neurotypical population, including but not limited to Autism Spectrum Disorder, disrupted attachment, Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder, Communication Disorders, Learning Disorders, Motor Disorders and Intellectual Disabilities.

We see the two core pillars of our work as being therapy and assessment:
Therapy – We offer ongoing therapy through individual Psychology, Speech and Language Therapy and Occupational Therapy services. Additionally, we provide group program services and school and home visits.
Assessment – Our services include formal clinical assessments, using both clinical judgement and evidence-based tools to understand and identify whether an individual meets diagnostic criteria for Neurodevelopmental Conditions. We also provide other forms of assessment, including learning, functional and language assessments.

About the Role
We are seeking a Generally Registered Psychologist and Clinical Psychologists to come on board.
Clinical staff are provided with access to a number of diagnostic assessment instruments and can be trained to administer diagnostic and neurocognitive assessments for a variety of presentations. Opportunities will be provided for assessing and treating individuals of all ages who may be living directly or indirectly with neurodevelopmental presentations. We offer regular in-house individual supervision, as well as weekly peer group supervision to support your growth and development.

Our competitive salary packages are designed to reward your commitment, with earnings potentially reaching up to $130 000, depending on the number of clients you choose to see each week and your preferences for work/life balance.

Essential Criteria
- General Registration with the Psychology Board of Australia (AHPRA).
- Hold or be eligible for registration with Medicare.
- Functions well in team environments with an attitude that is open to learning new ideas as well as teaching others the knowledge you’ve attained.
- Passion for working with individuals with a variety of presentations, including physical, intellectual and/or functional disabilities.
- Demonstrated clinical experience working with children, adolescents, adults and/or families.
Applicant’s qualities may include (OPTIONAL):
- Open to working with individuals of all ages.
- Postgraduate qualification in Clinical Psychology.
- Strong theoretical knowledge of Neurodevelopmental Conditions and common psychological presentations.
- Experience in supporting and treating individuals with Neurodevelopmental Conditions.
- We are open to discussing opportunities for the Clinical Registrar Program and full-time employment for those that are eligible.
