SalarySouth West Healthcare's (SWH) Camperdown Mental Health and Wellbeing Team is seeking applications from a committed and dynamic Clinical Psychologist or Registrar / Intern Psychologist to join the team and provide experience, growth and development.
About the role
As a valued member of our multidisciplinary team, you will support consumers with severe and persistent mental illness living within the local community. In a recovery oriented model of care, consumers, their families and carers are provided with clinical and non-clinical treatment as part of short and long term case management. Service provision is recovery oriented and trauma informed utilising natural and existing community supports as required in the South West region.
You will have the opportunity to work in an integrated role providing comprehensive psychological assessments, delivering evidence based clinical interventions, and care coordination. Extensive training and support is offered with the role including for registrar and Intern Psychologists provision of supervision and professional development per AHPRA requirements.
This is a permanent full time (80 hours per fortnight) position, with a monthly ADO and permanent part time.
What you bring
As a Clinical Psychologist or Registrar / Intern Psychologist you will demonstrate excellent skills and broad experience in Mental Health clinical services, including a proven ability to work within a team based multi-disciplinary model. A working knowledge of Recovery Oriented practices, trauma informed care, current Mental Health trends, legislation and relevant policy directions of Mental Health Services is also essential for this role.
The successful applicant must have excellent written, communication and interpersonal skills and initiative with proven ability to work autonomously and within a team, as well as an ability to demonstrate good judgement, work planning, decision-making abilities and organisational skills.
