Clinical Research Investigator (Doctor Or Medical Practitioner)

Are you looking for a change? Are you ready to give up weekend work and night duty?

We are seeking an enthusiastic Medical Doctor to join our clinical team, working from Monday to Friday, full time hours. No clinical trial experience is required for this role.

Emeritus Research improves world health by expertly managing clinical trials to accelerate medical advancements.

The Clinical Trial Investigator will work with the Emeritus Research Operations Team to provide every participant, who has been consented and enrolled into a clinical trial, safe and effective person-centered care. They will ensure that the rights, safety, and wellbeing of these participants are respected and protected. All delegated study-related assessments and activities assigned to them are to be performed in line with protocol requirements and within all local and international regulations and guidelines. You will be supported with experienced Investigators, Clinical Trial Coordinators, and Registered Nurses to fulfill the role’s requirements. You will need to meet all training and professional development requirements as required by your role as Investigator, and employee of Emeritus Research.  

A key part of this role is to maximize trial participant numbers through accurate clinical assessment and a robust understanding of trial protocol and maintain a high quality of clinical performance as determine via a peer- and supervisor-review process.

What do we want from you?

• Medical Practitioner with Unrestricted General and/or Specialist Registration with AHPRA 
• Current Medical Indemnity Insurance 
• Australian citizen or permanent Australian Resident 
• Meet the requirements of Good Clinical Practice training within Australia or willing to learn and adhere to these requirements.
