The role:
There is an opportunity for a Clinical Support Nurse to join the Surgical Education team at Northern Health.
This role is fixed term full time until 18 May 2025 (maternity leave cover)
The Clinical Support Nurse - Surgical is an important leader within the clinical team, and a role model of excellence in clinical practice and life-long learning. Supporting all level of learners specifically in the Surgical Services Division.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Current AHPRA registration as registered nurse / midwife
- Postgraduate qualification in relevant specialty (Surgica/clinical education) or working toward preferred
- Desirable minimum 2 years’ experience in Nursing Education
- Two years Surgical Nursing Experience
- Relevant experience in clinical education and knowledge of undergraduate programs and supervision
- Current knowledge of acute and post-acute patient care
- Experience in supervision and training
