About the Role:
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Cloud Engineer to join our client's dynamic team. Our client is a leading FinTech solutions, currently serving clients in over all over the world. As a Cloud Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in managing and enhancing their Azure environment, ensuring it meets operational standards and aligns with customer requirements.
What You'll Do:
- Work closely with the Head of Cloud to manage the migration of applications and infrastructure to the cloud.
- Enhance and monitor cloud environments to maximize value and efficiency.
- Perform application performance monitoring and reporting.
- Engage in disaster recovery planning, capacity engineering, and reliability improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Development, QA, Security, and Product teams.
- Provide ongoing support for hosted applications and infrastructure.
Requirements
- Solid understanding and experience with Azure.
- Previous experience in managing and monitoring cloud platforms, with a focus on Azure.
- Proficiency in Terraform, Bicep, CI/CD tools (e.g., TeamCity, Kubernetes), and security/compliance standards.
- Familiarity with SQL server, web service networking, storage, and PowerShell scripting.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), preferably with C# and .Net skills.
