Job Description
Oaks Hotels Resorts and Suites are looking for an experienced Cluster General Manager to lead multiple teams across a portfolio of properties in the Mackay and Isaac Region.
In this pivotal role, the successful candidate will leverage their passion, initiative, drive and strategic acumen to ensure the delivery of an exceptional product for our guests. The ideal candidate will possess prior experience in Senior Hotel Management, and will lead by example and empower their teams to achieve success.
Key Responsibilities Include:
  • Oversee day-today profitability, presentation and operations of 5 properties within the Mackay and Isaac Region
  • Play a crucial role in coaching, developing and managing the property teams to achieve their highest potential
  • Make strategic decisions to enhance RevPAR by collecting and analysing relevant data.
  • Maintain accountability for the overall efficiency and performance of the properties
  • Manage body corporate and guest relations within the properties
Qualifications
  • Proven operational and financial management experience within a Hotel environment
  • Strategic business acumen and commercial reality
  • A proven track record of maintaining excellent product and service standards whilst maximising revenue and minimising expenses
  • Demonstrated achievement in recruiting, driving and supporting teams to ensure a high performing team culture including an extensive portfolio in successful coaching and development
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain solid working relationships with guests, owners and staff
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement and learning
