Form of workWorkforce International are currently seeking a First ClassCNC Machinist for a reputable Australian Drill Consumable Supplier. Our client specialises in manufacturing drill & blast drill rods and mining equipment, servicing the resource sector.
This will be an ongoing position offering full time hours for the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and program CNC Okuma Lathe machines to produce precision components according to specifications
- Conduct routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues to minimize downtime
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment
Requirements:
- Certificate 3 in Engineering (fitting and turning) - Essential
- Proven experience as a CNC Machinist, with a focus on delivering high-precision components
- Previous experience operating Okuma
- High Risk Forklift Licence - Desirable
- High Risk Overhead Gantry Crane/Doggers Ticket - Desirable
- Valid Drivers Licence and Own Transport
- High regard for workplace safety
