CNC Machinist / Progress Machine Operator

Monday -Friday (6am - 3pm with overtime available)
Casual ongoing (opportunity to go permanent for the right candidate)
$37 - $40 hourly rate + penalties

About the Client
Our client is Australia's leading manufacturer of steel reinforced concrete pipes, culverts and a wide range of quality engineered precast concrete and environmental products.
About the Role
WorkPac are currently looking for a CNC Machinist / Progress Machine Operator for a concrete pipes and precast yard.
What you will be doing
Operate machinery for bending coil bars into precise shapes according to specifications
Complete routine maintenance of machinery
Perform all necessary machine maintenance
Ensuring to follow all safety procedures and regulations when operating machinery
Fixing and trouble shooting machine issues
Skills/Experience
Previous machine operating experience preferably in a manufacturing or production environment
Experience with precast concrete, mouldings, sewers and drain systems highly regarded
Strong clear communication skills – verbal and written
Ability to work in a team and unsupervised
Strong adherence and understanding of OH&S policies and procedures
Employment Requirements
Must have reliable transport
Must be able to pass a full pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening
Must demonstrate a high regard for safety
