AddressOur client is leading manufacturer of playground equipment based in Smeaton Grange. Makibe Australia are currently looking for a CNC Operator to join the team for an immediate start:
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilise various CNC software to operate machines such as CNC laser, router & press brake
- Take CAD designs in their DXF form and produce the various parts
- Work closely with business owner and CAD designer to implement changes and improvements to support implementing new products into production
- Create prototypes and conduct product testing to ensure functionality, durability, and safety.
- Collaborate with the manufacturing team to provide design specifications and support throughout the production process.
- When required fill in and help production team with manufacturing orders
What we are looking for:
- Must have experience operating CNC machines. Specific experience in sheet metal equipment an advantage
- Fabrication skills such as welding and operating manual machines highly valued
- An ability to think outside the box
- Knowledge of working with Australian standards and regulations is desirable.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A passion for creating innovative, safe, and enjoyable playground equipment.
