Tubeworx has an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated individual to take on a CNC Programmer position. You will need to be proficient in using software Systems and Microsoft Office Suite. You will need to be a highly organised person who thrives navigating ever-changing priorities. You will be someone who takes initiative with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Key responsibilities:
- Programming CNC bending machines to perform tube bending tasks.
- Work closely with the sales team to prioritise programming workload.
- Understanding specifications of the task at hand and the desired result by reading blueprints, mechanical drawings.
- Translating instructions into computer commands so the machines can perform the correct function.
- Quality checking of work orders.
- Actioning requests and following through with suppliers of tooling for CNC benders.
- Data entry of Access and Plan processes for work order procedures.
About You:
- Previous experience in a CNC Programming role
- Engineering or trade qualified background essential
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to work under pressure, multitask and strong time management skills
- High level of accuracy
- Excellent computer knowledge, working with Microsoft Office, Windows operating systems and data bases
The position would suit candidates who can work autonomously in a fast-paced dynamic environment. We have a great team environment with a hands-on approach to all that needs to be done.
This is a full time position of 38 hours a week, Monday to Friday.
