About the role
The city is seeking an experienced Logistics Officer to join our Procurement team to provide technical advice to key stakeholders to assist in improving the delivery of the City's procurement, logistic and fleet services.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in a similar role, particularly broad experience across the supply chain with working knowledge of warehouse and inventory computer systems.
You will undertake the maintenance of the inventory catalogue for stores and liaise with the Team Leader Contracts and Procurement and assist customers in job costing, purchasing, asset register and managing inventory systems.

What's on offer?
- $58,439.49 per annum + Superannuation
- Permanent Full Time 38 hours per week
- Options to accrue flex time and flexible working arrangements

Essentials Qualifications and Experience
- Qualifications in a relevant field such as Procurement, Warehousing Operations, Contracts Management, Supply, Logistics and Purchasing and Materials Management and/or significant relevant experience
- Workcover Licence for Forklift
- National Construction Induction Certification (White Card)
- Current Class C Drivers Licence.
Desirable
- Knowledge of Local Government procurement practices
- Experience in the use of Local Government software systems.
