JBS Australia is the largest and most respected meat and food producer in Australia. We have a strong portfolio of leading and renowned beef, lamb, pork, salmon and value-added branded products, such as AMH, Swift, Primo, Murray Valley and Huon.
Situated on 2,000ha, the JBS Riverina Beef plant is a part of the Riverina integrated farming, feedlot and processing operation. The cattle are walked from the feedlot to the plant, minimising stress and transportation costs, while simultaneously improving eating quality – one of only two in the southern hemisphere.
Based just outside Yanco, between the popular townships of Leeton and Narrandera in southern NSW. Being in the heart of the Murrumbidgee Irrigation district (or Riverina region), ensures the ability to source high quality feeder cattle and grain to produce premium beef. The plant employs approximately 420 people with a current processing capacity of 600 head of cattle per day, operating 5 days per week.
About the Role
Our JBS Riverina Plant currently is currently recruiting an experienced Administrator to join our Cold Store team in a full-time capacity. Reporting to the Shift Manager, the Cold Store Administrator will provide essential shipping and production support to ensure our team can continue operating efficiently and effectively.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Preparation of documents associated with production control
- Timely and accurate data entry and reporting
- Stock analysis and control
- Generation of shipping instructions and maintaining the shipping schedule
- General logistics support
- Production control related duties including label control and on-hold procedures
- Assisting the Inventory Controller as required
About You
- Previous experience in a similar shipping, logistics and/or production control role advantageous
- High level of attention to detail
- Efficient data entry and clerical skills
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to multitask
- Ability to work autonomously as well as part as a team
- Demonstrated computer literacy skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and Email
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
