Collection Officer - Accounts Receivable

We are seeking an experienced Collection Officer / Account Receivable to join the Bunnings Finance team.

About the Role:

We are now looking for an exceptional Collection Officer / Account Receivable to be the newest member of the support team based in our Rhodes office reporting to the Collections Manager NSW / ACT. This role provides support for a specific group of credit customers.

You will be responsible for the daily reconciliation of accounts, collection of debts, account maintenance, customer queries, dispute resolution and managing internal and external phone calls in large volumes. Part of this role will require you to build strong relationships with customers and the extended Bunnings team, while working closely with the Commercial, Trade and RetailOperations teams.

What's involved:

• Reconciliation of Accounts Receivable

• Collection of debts

• Account maintenance

• Liaising with internal & external stakeholders

• Providing fast email responses to customers queries

• Dispute resolution

• Handling Inbound account calls and undertake relief reception duties when required.

You'll need:

• Tertiary qualification in Accounting or similar

• Previous experience in a Credit / Accounts Receivable role

• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel / Word)

• To be able to handle high volumes of incoming calls
