The Role
Lead, coach, and mentor a team of Collections professionals to ensure adherence to performance targets and proper implementation of policies and procedures.
Due to an internal move, we have an opportunity for a highly motivated finance leader to step into the finance department as the new Collections Manager—Non-Grocery and foster outstanding high-standard customer service across the team while meeting Bega Group collections targets.
This is a Hybrid position, mixing between Bega's Docklands office and working from home arrangement.
Responsibilities
Manage the end-to-end credit function for non-supermarket customers, including team collection activities.
Manage the ledger of accounts and perform credit collection duties and administrative duties.
Proactively seek new ways of working and initiate and execute new processes to enhance Bega Group’s Collections department.
Support with rolling out of a new Cloud-based collection tool.
Educate and train collections team members in best practices for credit management, concepts, controls, and collection activities—coaching and upskilling.
About you
5+ years of proven work experience in Accounts Receivable / Credit Control / preferably within FMCG/ Retail.
Proven experience leading a team in a high-volume and transactional environment.
Advanced formulas in MS Excel (pivot table/ V lookups)
Working experience with SAP
Excellent analytical skills and the ability to create and present detailed reports.
