We are seeking an experienced Collections Officer to join our fast growing business in home lending. Guaranteed to provide you with personal work satisfaction whilst also feeling appreciated for your hard working efforts.
If you have experience in Collections and are looking for a role that allows you to utilise your extensive skill base as well as display your strong customer service skills, then we have the position for you.
A day in the life of a Collections Officer:-
- Responsible for all arrears from day 1 onwards
- Reviewing arrears reports daily
- Contacting borrowers directly to advise of overdue amounts and ascertaining reason for late repayment
- Setting up/amending direct debit payments in the banking system
- Working with borrowers to bring accounts back into order as quickly as possible
- Assisting clients with and finalising payment arrangements as required
- Assisting clients with and finalising financial hardship applications as required
- Liaising with borrowers to ensure payment arrangements are met
- Helping borrowers navigate their home loan by answering queries regarding their account to reduce further arrears where possible
- Instructing solicitors where required for accounts >30 days and following these matters through until finalised
- Completing Arrears reports to Manager on a regular basis
Positions like this do not come along often.
What you will bring
- Certificate IV in Finance will be beneficial
