Medical Billing and Collections Officer/Medical Receptionist (WA Cardiology)

Full-time

WA Cardiology is the longest established cardiology testing service in Western Australia with 15 metropolitan and country sites. We are looking for a candidate who has extensive experience in outpatient, inpatient and procedural billing.  Based at our Murdoch rooms, the successful applicant will be required to work in both collections and reception roles.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

To be considered for this role, we are looking for the following skills and strengths:

• Strong work ethic and enthusiastic attitude
• Experience in Medical Billing in specialist or surgical procedures
• Experience in Medical Billing using Eclipse
• Experience in medical practice software
• Knowledge of HIC rules
• Knowledge of Health Funds rules and guidelines
• Experience as a medical receptionist
• Good computer literacy with MS Word, Excel and Outlook
• Ability to work well with others and take direction
• Willingness to learn and grow
• Excellent customer service skills
• Good time management and organisational skills
• Strong attention to detail
