Accounts Receivable / Collection Officer

Due to our continued growth, we are looking for a pro-active Accounts Receivable / Collection Officer on a permanent, full-time basis to join our team, based in Victoria Park. 

About the Role

The role will be supporting the business functions relating to Finance, including proper Invoice Processing, Debt Collection and Reconciliations, Building relationships with customers to streamline receivables.

Duties will include

1. Support the Swan Group with the invoice processing based on accounting procedures. 
2. Accurate data entry in Xero for creating and sending invoices.
3. Process weekly Swan Group Direct Debits and subsequent payment reconciliation.
4. Bank reconciliation for matching payment to invoices.
5. Handling customer inquiries regarding billing issues, Investigate discrepancies. 
6. Maintain Accounts Receivable ledger and Accounts Receivable files.
7. Submitting Report for Debtors management.
8. Secure customers payment on time and communicate with debt collector.
9. Support compliance lodgements and internal reviews.
10. Other ad hoc duties to assist in the continuous improvement of the accounting function.

About you

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 
• Current National Police Clearance.
• Current Drivers Licence
