SalaryWe are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Collections Officer to oversee the end-to-end management of the Collections between hospitals. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a high standard of customer service while ensuring efficient debt collection practices on a large portfolio ($40mil).
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end Collection process, ensuring accurate and timely debt collection
- Manage internal and external queries effectively, maintaining excellent communication
- Analyzing and reporting on collections and overdue amounts
- Reconciliation of customer accounts
- Support centralization and standardization of Collections processes, contributing to operational engagement and embedding best practices.
- Act as a valued member of a multidisciplinary team, promoting a positive team culture and offering guidance to team members
- Identify areas for improvement and enhance services
- Develop key relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Assist the Billing and & Collections manager to set monthly target
- 4+ years experience in Collection/AR/Credit
- Experience in portfolio management of large to medium businesses
- Excellent communication skills, the ability to be clear and concise
- Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to build trust
- Experience in process improvement and project management
- Advanced Excel skills and ability to report on collections
- Excellent reconciliation and dispute resolution skills
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and prioritize tasks
- Knowledge of the private or public health industry is an advantage
