Central Coast Sports College (CCSC) is a progressive independent school situated in Kariong on the NSW Central Coast. We specialise in providing innovative educational and sport programs to student athletes from Kindergarten to Year 12. Our purpose is to provide opportunities for CCSC student athletes to attempt challenging and new experiences within a safe environment that will develop their independence and personal skills.
The Role:
The College Administration Officer will be welcomed into a small team that provides administration support to the College. The purpose of the role is to assist in the efficient operation of the administration of the College by providing friendly, professional and effective customer service within the College community.
There are two positions to be filled: -
Position 1 -College Administration Officer - Student services
- respond to and assist with enquiries from student athletes, parents and staff
- support that meets the day to day requirements of the College and the Administration Team including:-
- student athlete attendance
- lunchtime relief on Reception
- receiving, entering and maintaining student athlete information on college data bases
- preparation of college documents, internal and external publications and learning materials using computer applications and other office equipment
- coordinate annual College photo day
- assist with periodical events such as; NAPLAN, Government returns, student athlete reports
- other tasks that may be required to complete these primary responsibilities including performing other duties at the discretion of the Principal/Deputy Principal.
Position 2 - College Administration Officer - Senior College (Yrs 7 to 12)
- coordinate Learning Through Internship/Interest (LTI) program for student athletes in Years 9 to 12
- respond to and assist with enquiries from student athletes, parents and staff
- assist with excursion process
- support to Head of Senior College:-
- scheduling of meetings and events
- taking and distributing minutes may be required for:-
- Head of Senior College general staff meetings
- parent meetings
- co-ordinate dissemination of information to staff, parents and student athletes
- production of documents – letters, registers, spreadsheets
- data entry
- other tasks that may be required to complete these primary responsibilities including performing other duties at the discretion of the Principal/Deputy Principal.
Qualifications and experience:
- solid levels of computer literacy including strong numerical, keyboard and data entry skills
- strong organisational and time management skills, with an ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, work well under pressure and manage competing tasks
- excellent attention to detail
- ability to work independently and collaboratively as required
- strong administrative experience working within a fast-paced education setting
- excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- experience (desirable) using school management systems, particularly TASS
- a genuine willingness to help out where possible with all areas of the College.
