Hours: Part-time or full time, 3 days per week (9am - 4pm) minimum
Colmed Group have an opportunity for an Entry LevelLogistics Assistant to join our logistics team at our head office in Noble Park North.
The successful applicant will be trained in all fields of our logistics team and will be given continuous mentoring to fully equip you with the essential tools to be successful in this role. The training will be hands on to ensure you gain a full understanding of our business and processes and requires a fit and healthy person.
You will be a self-starter with a keen eye for detail and committed to providing quality service. You will be confident in your abilities, reliable, have a strong work ethic and be willing to continue to learn and grow with us.
Key Responsibilities:
• Checking, packing and allocating all equipment to an event
• Weekly cleaning of vehicles
• Assist with vehicle maintenance management (incl. organising servicing, fuel cards, e-tags etc)
• Assist in medical equipment maintenance (checking, organising servicing)
• Assist in managing stockroom orders
• Manage staff uniforms (getting orders ready, allocating uniform items, managing returns)
• Assist with waste/recycling management
• Assist with warehouse management (organising, stock checking, keeping it tidy)
• Ad hoc tasks as required by management
· Proficiency with computerised staff rostering software, knowledge of MS office suite of applications and gmail
· Experience working in a logistics role is ideal, but not essential
· Excellent communication skills
· Outstanding organisational and coordination abilities
· Be eager to learn; possess strong attention to detail; and be proactive in all situations
