The opportunity You will play a key role in analysing market trends, pricing strategies, and financial performance to support decision making processes and drive business success. As well as: Analysis and interpretation of divisional results Preparation and explanation of budgets and forecasts P&L preparation for delivery to the business Standard cost determination and analysis Capex request support Weekly, Monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting onkey business metrics Monthly meetings held with State Managers to explainvariances, understand trends and put in place corrective plans or controls Customer and product sales and margin analysis andreporting Create, build and implement new reports as requiredby key stakeholders Work collaboratively with Product Development andSupply Chain on new product and lifecycle management Ad-hoc analysis to support Management in business decisions involving financial modelling and reporting and ofter recommendations About You The successful candidate will have a proven track record as a successful Commercial Analyst within the Retail, Transport or Manufacturing industries, as well as: Tertiary qualifications in Accounting & Finance or CA/CPA certifications Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modelling, data analysis, and interpretation. Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey complex concepts in a clear and concise manner. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software/tools. Experience with SAP and Power BI is desirable Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously A proactive mindset with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high quality work.
