Our client is a prominent leader in the aged care industry, dedicated to providing exceptional care and support to their residents. They are currently seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Commercial Analyst with a focus on rebates to join their dynamic team. This role is crucial for ensuring the financial health and operational efficiency of the business.
The Role
In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for analyzing and managing rebate agreements to maximize financial performance and ensure compliance. You will work closely with the finance and procurement teams to monitor rebate performance and develop effective financial models. Your expertise will help identify cost-saving opportunities and enhance revenue streams, contributing significantly to the overall success of the organization.
Responsibilities:
· Analyze and manage rebate agreements to ensure compliance and optimize financial outcomes.
· Collaborate with finance and procurement teams to monitor and report on rebate performance.
· Partner with the supply chain team to align rebate strategies with operational needs.
· Develop and maintain rebate calculation models and systems.
· Prepare detailed financial reports and analysis to support decision-making.
· Identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue enhancement through effective rebate management.
· Support budgeting and forecasting processes related to rebates.
· Liaise with suppliers and vendors to negotiate favorable rebate terms.
· Ensure accurate and timely processing of rebate claims.
Your Skills & Experience
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Economics or related field.
- CPA or CA qualified or working towards your qualification. Big Four experience will be highly regarded.
- Rebates experience held with high regards
- At least 5 years experience in accounting/analytical experience.
- Advanced experience using financial systems such as Microsoft Dynamic, SAP, Excel etc.
- Ability to work with complex data sets.
- Power Query and Power Pivot experience required.
- Strong presentation and storyboarding skills
