Commercial Business Analyst

We are looking for a Commercial Business Analyst to join our client's team in Eastern Creek NSW for a 2-3 month contract with potential extension.
The role As a Commercial Business Analyst, you will report to the Commercial Manager and provide commercial analysis and advice to the Strategic Business Unit and Regional Management teams. You will assist in achieving growth in both revenue and profit in line with Group expectations.
Your main duties will include:

• Productivity model review: Analyse actual contract performance versus modelled expectations and provide commercial review and insight to customer contract management.
• Financial and business analysis: Prepare and present financial and business reports, forecasts, budgets, and variance analysis to support decision making and identify opportunities and risks.
• Data modelling and reporting: Use advanced data and financial modelling skills to create and maintain complex models and dashboards using Office 365 suite, Power Bi, and Financial Reporting systems (e.g. TM1).
• Stakeholder management: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and senior management.

The ideal candidate To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Financial and/or business analysis and commercial experience in a complex, diverse, multi site business
• Advanced data/financial modelling and reporting skills
• Proven ability to build networks and manage relationships
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to think creatively, highly driven and self motivated
• Process orientated and able to prioritise according to tight timeframes
