As the Asset Manager at HYG, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our commercial portfolio and spearheading our expansion into the Build-to-Rent market.
Reporting into the Managing Director, this is a unique new leadership opportunity to join a dynamic organisation and become a driving force in the company strategic growth initiatives.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide overall leadership and mentorship to the property management team to deliver exceptional service and achieve operational excellence.
- Supervise the in-house commercial office portfolio across NSW.
- Cultivate strong relationships with tenants and internal stakeholders, to foster a collaborative community atmosphere.
- Oversee maintenance work orders to ensure timely resolution and upholding property standards and rental arrears control.
- Maintain lease agreements, inspection documentation, reference checks, condition reports, and rental applications.
- Manage trust accounts and invoices in alignment with company policies and procedures.
- Lead rental reviews and implementing rent management strategies with the property assistant.
- Collaborate with external leasing agents to manage and review leasing strategy to attract and retain high-quality tenants.
- Implement budgets and monitor property improvement projects, renovations, and capital expenditure initiatives.
- Oversee compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Identify opportunities to enhance revenue and reduce costs through strategic initiatives.
Ideal Applicants will have:
- 5 years or more experience in commercial real estate investment or asset management
- Current NSW Real Estate License and Driver License
- Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills to cultivate positive tenant relationships.
- Excellent organisational and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Mandarin is required.
- Proven ability to lead a team and work collaboratively across different facets of property development.
