Intercruises is an experienced global business offering turnaround, shore excursion, and hotel-program services to the ocean cruise industry. The Australian Head office is in Sydney but covers all Australian Ports.
You will report to the Commercial Development Manager and work to create programs for stakeholder cruise lines calling into Australia.
This will include, but not be limited to, Shore Excursion and Overland programs.
- Create financial and content proposals according to client specifications and expectations within the deadlines required.
- This may take the form of a competitive bid process, or creation of programs throughout the season and will cover Turnaround, Shore Excursion and Overland programs.
- Work with the Supply Management team to create exciting programs for each cruise line, covering Shore Excursions, Overland programs and adhoc requests.
- Work to grow the region through client relationships and identifying growth opportunities, by developing good working relationships with State & Regional Tourism Organisations.
- Provide ongoing guidance and support to the Operations & Port Delivery teams during their operational season.
- Assist in growth of the cruise industry, by taking part in workshops designed to grow the industry. This may require travel within Australia, with time away from home.
- Attend product familiarisations and workshops when required to ensure the best programs are passed on to stakeholder cruise lines.
ABOUT YOU
- Previous experience in the cruise industry would be desirable.
- Geographical knowledge of Australia is an advantage.
- Ability to be flexible to attend meetings outside of regular business hours.
- Methodical, organized and prioritizing approach towards the execution of the assigned tasks.
- The ability to work under multiple deadlines
- Great team working skills, plus the ability to work alone when required
- Proficiency in English and good communication skills
- Ability to use MS Office tools such as Word, Outlook and Excel.
