Commercial Finance Analyst

A leading non-bank lender and alternate investment manager is looking for a commercial lending analyst to directly support the firms sales team. This client has over $16bn in funds under management and a diverse range of clients across Australia and New Zealand managed by a team of 125.
The role will report to the Operations Manager and will be responsible for providing sales and administrative support for existing client and new client accounts. This will involve working closely with both the Sales and Operations teams to assist with preparing transaction applications, quotes, credit submissions, document and settlement preparation and taking on customer service tasks.
Responsibilities:
Intermediary between Sales and stakeholders in other departments
Coordinate new broker and customer set up and all associated on-boarding activities
Assist Sales in the preparation of applications and quotes for submission to Credit
Manage inbound enquiries from customers, vendors and brokers about new or existing
scenarios, quotes, applications and general queries
Managing customer service inbox
AML, KYC and PPSR compliance
Initial credit analysis to determine suitability of applications according to MBF credit policies
Prepare and send quotes, offer/welcome letters and other correspondence
Document & settlement preparation
Pro-actively keeping brokers and customers up to date on the status of their application
CRM/database maintenance including ensuring the sales pipeline and related reporting is kept
up to date
Assisting with payouts
Assist Operations Support Manager in actively looking to improve processes and procedures
Experience:
High attention to detail
Strong communication skills and customer service etiquette
Ability to work to own initiative
Ability to work under pressure to meeting deadlines, both autonomously and part of a team
Positive attitude
Strong time management & organisation skills
Prior exposure in asset finance industry
2 years experience in a sales support role/ or commercial operations.
