Join the team At Kmart Group, we are seeking a dynamic and talented individual to join our team as a Commercial Finance Manager. This role will serve as a vital link between our Finance and Marketing/Customer Insights functions, playing a pivotal role in driving financial strategies and insights to support business objectives. This role offers the flexibility to work from either Mulgrave or Williams Landing and is available on a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract. What you'll be doing As a Commercial Finance Manager working for Kmart Group, you will: Collaborate with Marketing and Customer Insights teams to provide financial insights and analysis, supporting strategic decision-making processes. Ensure seamless forecasting and budgeting processes, contributing to the development of financial plans aligned to organizational strategy. Lead cost management initiatives, optimizing expenditures while maintaining operational excellence. Partner with key stakeholders to provide financial analysis and make recommendations on investment options and drive actions based on commercial performance Steering the business to deliver results and KPIs through weekly and monthly trade insights, profitability and performance analysis, identification of risks and opportunities Build strong relationships with the broader Finance and business leadership teams and be confident in challenging and influencing outcomes as needed. Deliver accurate and timely month-end and board reporting, providing clear visibility into financial performance and key metrics. To be successful in this role, you'll have: Demonstrated experience in a Commercial Finance / finance business partnering role. Experience working in Retail, FMCG, Marketing or Digital industry with an in-depth understanding of business operations. Proven track record of driving results and delivering insights that contribute to business success. Advanced analytical and financial modelling skills including proficiency in analytical tools Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across departments. Experience with ERP systems -SAP, TM1 exposure would be beneficial.
