The Role
As a Commercial Manager, you will bridge the gap between sales and marketing, leveraging your accounting expertise to drive strategic decision-making and optimize financial performance. Your ability to analyse data, identify growth opportunities, and align sales and marketing strategies will be instrumental in achieving the business objectives. Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop integrated commercial strategies that align with overall business objectives.
- Utilize financial analysis and reporting to assess the performance of sales and marketing initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and growth.
- Drive financial forecasting, budgeting, and pricing strategies to optimize profitability and support revenue targets.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify market trends and opportunities, ensuring our products remain competitive.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to inform strategic decision-making, such as product launches, promotions, and market expansion.
- Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders, ensuring cross-functional collaboration and effective communication.
The successful candidate will be CA/CPA qualified with experience working within a complex retail or FMCG environment. You will be commercial and strategic and will be highly competent in working amongst large data sets to pull together robust and insightful recommendations to drive business performance. You will be a genuine business partner who is able to build strong relationships across the business. Technically astute, you will have demonstrated success improving management and performance reporting through efficient systems and reporting tools.
