Located in a Hills based property management organisation is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Commercial Property Manager.
THE ROLE:
Reporting to the Director some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Day to day management of a mixed property portfolio consisting of industrial, commercial & some retail assets
- Arrears management, rent reviews and contract administration
- Finance management including: tenant billing, outgoings reconciliation, property budgets & operational reporting
- Maintaining existing relationships with asset owners, tenants, facility & centre managers – ensuring strong communication at all times
- Site inspections when needed
- Responding to maintenance requests, working closely with centre and facility managers to ensure work orders are completed
- Working closely with leasing team on new leases and renewals
THE CANDIDATE:
To secure this role the ideal candidate will have:
- Experience within a similar role where you have been responsible for a portfolio of either commercial, industrial or retail properties.
- The kind of personality that genuinely loves dealing with all kinds of personalities – you understand the importance of maintaining strong relationships with both owners and tenants. You’re proactive and reactive and can manage multiple things coming your way each day.
- Exceptional communication skills with attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
- Experience managing property finances – this isn’t just about going out and doing inspections and ticking things off. Exposure to budget management, tenant billing and reconciliations is essential
- A current Real Estate and drivers licence
