What You Will Do: Under limited direction, the Communications Specialist will:
- Support the delivery of effective community and stakeholder engagement activities.
- Assist in planning, producing, coordinating, and implementing communication materials, campaigns, and programs for infrastructure projects.
- Write, create, edit, curate, and publish engaging content across various channels, including social media, websites, and electronic mail.
- Coordinate events, presentations, displays, and provide support at community engagement activities.
- Handle reactive media enquiries, produce media materials, organise media briefings, and prepare media reporting.
- Content Creation and Communication Strategies: Proven experience in content creation, planning, and implementing communication strategies across various mediums and channels.
- Stakeholder and Community Engagement: Good knowledge and experience in planning and delivering contemporary communication, stakeholder, and community engagement activities.
- Media and Reputation Management: Experience in both reactive and pro-active media and reputation management, including producing media materials and organising media briefings.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or a minimum of 3 years' experience in communications, content production, media, public relations, marketing, or strategic communications.
