An exciting opportunity exists for an Administration Officer to plan, coordinate and provide ongoing management of all Medical Officers (Staff Visiting Medical Officers, Senior Medical Officers and Resident Medical Staff) at the Gympie Hospital including recruitment, engagement, orientation, emergent relief, leave relief and on call in line with provisions of Industrial Awards and the Health Service requirement.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Manage and coordinate the daily functioning of the Office of the Medical Superintendent Gympie Hospital in order to deliver a client focused service and achieve a high level of performance in the demanding management environment.
• Manage an electronic diary of meetings and appointments for the Medical Superintendent by prioritising requests for appointments and ensuring optimal time management.
• Provide high level administrative support functions to the Medical Superintendent Gympie Hospital, including complaints on clinical matters.

Remuneration value up to $55 426 p.a., comprising salary rates $44.47 - $49.00 p.h., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (AO4) (part time position, 38 hrs p.f.).
