Located in South Gippsland offering a variety of natural attractions like nowhere else in Victoria, Hays Recruitment are currently seeking a full-time 3-month contract for an experienced Communications Advisor to support a wide range of internal and external communications functions. This 3-month position is a great opportunity to work with a professional and dynamic organisation who provide locals with an essential service.You also have the opportunity to apply for a full-time permanent position with this organisation.
About the role:
With guidance and support from the Communication and Engagement Team Leader, this role is responsible for preparation of internal and external communications via various social media platforms to promote the corporation's programs and activities and community engagement initiatives.
You will be responsible for:
- Creation of content relating to online and traditional media platforms for internal and external audiences.
- Preparation of corporate communications, both internally and externally, to support various platforms and channels.
- Provide practical support for community and customer consultation.
- Additional duties as requested
What you need:
- Previous marketing and communications experience
- Outstanding communication skills and ability to liaise with a range of stakeholders.
- Proficient in computer systems, including MS Office suite and WordPress
- Experience in local or state government with knowledge of communication (desired)
- Have a full unrestricted driver's licence
A clear Police Check is required for the successful applicant
