We have a fantastic opportunity for a Communications and Marketing Advisor to join our national Marketing & BD team at Macpherson Kelley on a short-term contract or casual basis. This role can be based from any of our four offices located in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne or Dandenong.
This role is responsible for the strategic design, implementation and coordination of a range of internal and external communication strategies. You will be required to increase brand awareness, media and industry engagement and promote the firm to its core clients/ referrers.
- Develop and implement strategic communications for promotion and dissemination of legal marketing content and profiling – with an emphasis on digital comms.
- Ensure corporate branding is a key element of all communications.
- Plan, create and coordinate internal communications liaising with relevant stakeholders.
- Coordinate PR and press relations including drafting, editing and liaising with media contacts and partnerships.
- Assist in the preparation and drafting of various internal and external communications.
- Create, adapt, improve and optimize web communication for SEO and organic and keyword search.
- Reporting and analytics.
- Develop/maintain social media profiles and quality content on LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube and Twitter.
ABOUT YOU
- Experience in creating and publishing content for LinkedIn, Instagram and Twitter.
- Experience with website management including SEO and Wordpress.
- Experience liaising with senior internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience in creating video content from concept through to production. Knowledge of PremierePro would be an advantage.
- Demonstrated experience in a PR and Communications role within a professional services environment preferred.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong attention to detail with well-developed analytical skills.
- Strong organisational skills and great time management.
The successful applicant will be required to undertake and satisfy a National Police Records Check.
