It’s an exciting time for tennis in Australia and we have ambitious plans to continue to grow the game from grassroots through to high performance. We are transforming how we deliver tennis, with the aim of making it more accessible, to more people, more often. To help us achieve our plans, we are looking for a Marketing & Communications Coordinatorto join our team at Tennis West on a full time, permanent basis.
Reporting to the Head of Marketing, Partnerships, Events and Media, the Marketing & Communications Coordinator will promote Tennis in Western Australia by coordinating the marketing, communications and event activities in line with the national and state strategy. This role will be responsible for assisting with marketing, digital, branding, production, advertising, and event activities to grow awareness of participation in tennis.
About the role
In this role you will:
- Collaborate in the developing and executing of the Tennis West marketing plan
- Coordinate marketing campaigns aligned with the national strategy & Tennis West Participation objectives
- Drive the implementation of Tennis West’s content strategy across channels
- Provide guidance and support to Tennis West Associations and clubs in digital design and marketing initiatives
- Support the Events Lead and marketing team in ensuring the successful execution of Tennis West events
About you
To be successful in this role you will:
- Proven experience in marketing and/or communications and digital communication platforms
- Excellent presentation and communication skills with the ability to meet deadlines
- Strong computer and information technology literacy including production and design software
- Hold (or be willing to obtain) a current Police Check and Working with Children Check
- Preparedness to be flexible regarding working hours and arrangements relating to work associated with Tennis West
