Communications Junior Social Media Content

Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our creative agency as a part-time Communications Junior. This role will be instrumental in supporting our team in various aspects of social media, digital and web communications, as well as creative endeavours. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for creativity and digital media to gain hands-on experience in a supportive agency environment across a broad spectrum of clientele.

Attention to detail is important and working to deadlines is part of our agency promise. You will be creating unique content, copy and designs for our clients in line with their brand needs while pushing boundaries and gaining the best results.

You will be responsible for creating and developing social media and digital content designs, supporting and executing content strategies, using data and research to guide content and copy, managing all content and communicating effectively with our team and our valued clients.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including copywriting abilities

• Proficient in social media platforms and understanding of their respective best practices
• Basic knowledge of digital marketing principles and web analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics)
• Familiarity with website management, newsletter creation and send outs and photo and video editing
• Experience in graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign. Proficiency with Canva is a plus.
• Have or soon be graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Media or related field

Remuneration is based on experience. This is a part-time role with flexible working hours, offering the opportunity to develop valuable skills and grow within a creative agency setting, based in Geelong.
