Communications Support Officer

The role
The role of the Communications Support team member spans across the Communications and ICT teams with its primary function sitting within the Communications team. That is, the role will operate 4 days in Communications and one day in ICT. This split may be subject to change depending on the workload requirements of each team - any change to this arrangement will be agreed to by both teams.

The duties of the Communications Support Officer include, but are not limited to:

• Supporting the development and delivery of communications across a broad range of internal and external communications channels to help enhance the level of engagement with, and awareness of, integrity responsibilities amongst staff, athletes, sports and key stakeholders.
• Providing technical support with podcast recordings and virtual event hosting (using Microsoft Teams and Live Events) and video and audio support for in-house events and conferences.
• Social media content creation.
• Providing graphic design support, as required utilising Adobe Creative suite in a PC environment.
• Writing communications, as required.
• Undertaking general administrative duties.
• Supporting the work of the ICT team in delivering technical support to staff.

The key accountabilities include, but is not limited to:

• Contribute to the successful ongoing promotion of Sport Integrity Australia's brand.
• Ensure confidentiality is maintained at all times.
• Ensure the APS Values and Code of Conduct is adhered to at all times.
• Endorse and encourage `best practice' recordkeeping in accordance with Sport Integrity Australia's Record Keeping Policy and Information Governance Framework. Cooperate with the employer and comply with all relevant legislation and Sport Integrity Australia's health and safety policies, procedures and instructions.
