Your new role
As a Communications Technician, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining and optimising communication systems within mining operations. Your responsibilities will include:- Installing, configuring, and troubleshooting communication equipment such as radios, satellite systems, and network infrastructure.
- Collaborating with other teams to ensure seamless communication across various sites and departments.
- Conducting regular inspections and maintenance to prevent downtime and enhance reliability.
- Responding to emergency situations promptly and efficiently.
What you'll need to succeed
To excel in this role, you'll possess the following qualifications and skills:- Proficiency in communication technologies, including radio systems, fibre optics, and network protocols.
- The ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues quickly.
