We are presently looking for caring persons with maternal instincts to join a tight knit support team in the Albany area who support a young woman with severe autism. Consistent and regular hours are available. This may include a combination of in-home supports ,sleepovers, and well paid weekend work. We are happy to discuss flexible arrangements with the right applicant.

What will you need to have (or be able to obtain)?
- Current NDIS Workers Check (or the ability to obtain one).
- Drivers’ licence
- Ability to work as part of a team of dedicated support staff.
- Rights to legally work in Australia.
- Suitable previous work references [explainable work gaps are acceptable as we are a forward focused organisation].
What’s great to have, but not essential?
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Relevant support work experience

- A willingness to engage positively with our Member and other key stakeholders.
- Competence responding to challenging/complex behaviours (training is provided).
- Computer literacy and an ability to write notes and read support plans.
